Even though I have always loved drawing and painting, as an adult, I found it hard to balance this passion alongside working full time as a primary school teacher and being a busy mum of two. During the 2020 lockdown, I suddenly found myself with lots of time that I could use to explore calligraphy and watercolours. I instantly fell in love with calligraphy. Hours would whizz by as I dedicated time to exploring and practising calligraphy.

In September 2022, I made the decision to reduce my hours at school and to pursue working as an artist part time. Since then, I have enjoyed creating many stationery suites for couples, even winning the TWIA South Central 'Stationer of 2024' award. It has been an honour to be a part of so many wonderful weddings!

I have taught a wide range of calligraphy and watercolour classes since 2021, with many attendees joining me repeatedly. Time and time again, I have listened to them say how relaxed and present they feel! This is so important to me: I want to encourage everyone to connect with themself and discover a new creative hobby.

I am excited to be running my first weekend retreat in November 2024 - a whole weekend of Christmas Craft prep! I can't wait!
